Meet Tangi Miller, named by TV Guide as one of the sexiest stars on television and whom Ebony Magazine called one of the “most beautiful people of the millennium.” Tangi can be seen in Tyler Perry’s newest film Madea’s Family Reunion, set for release February 24, 2006. She was also nominated for a 2005 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in the television movie, Phantom Force.

Tangi Miller quickly found success playing the smart, spirited and stylish Elena Tyler on the hit WB series Felicity. Rapidly securing her place in the entertainment industry, Tangi is poised to become one of Hollywood’s brightest stars. After making her television debut as a series regular on the WB’s Felicity, Tangi later received a 2002 NAACP Image Award Nomination for Best Actress in a Dramatic series. Tangi has since launched a professional acting career with lead roles in the independent feature film, The Other Brother, starring opposite Mekhi Phifer, as well as in Too Legit: The MC Hammer Story. Tangi also starred in the LionsGate feature film Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood and has guest starred on Half & Half, Fastlane, The Twilight Zone, Arliss, The Shield and The District. Tangi also most recently finished the Independent film After School set for release summer 2006.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, the eldest of six kids who were not allowed to watch television as they were growing up, Tangi began acting in stage productions while in high school. Having never planned on an acting career, Tangi chose to major in the more practical field of marketing while attending Alabama State University. Realizing she spent all of her free time acting in theater productions, Tangi decided after graduation to pursue her acting talent. Intense in her desire to study the craft, she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of California, Irvine and studied at the Royal National Theater in London as well as the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.

Along with acting, Tangi has a passion for African-Caribbean dance and Producing. As a member of a Los Angles based African dance troupe, Tangi has performed in West Africa, Cameroon and Ghana. She also Produced Ghanaian film Police Officer 3 and recently LA Indie After School. She will Produce her 3rd film Love & Other 4 Letter Words April 2006. In her spare Tangi also enjoys studying and experiencing foreign cultures through international travel.
